My transformation story: April Rogers

BEFORE MY TRANSFORMATION

Before starting on my journey, I was at a low point in my life. I had no motivation at all. I really just gave up on myself. When I decided to join a local fitness studio, I knew I needed to change. I hated everything about myself, the way I looked in the mirror and the way I looked in clothes, and I knew getting my health and fitness back on track was what I needed for my self-love.

WHAT I DID

I set goals for myself, and once I joined the studio, I worked out one to two times a day, tracked my meals, drank water and stayed consistent on my meal plan.

THE MOST DIFFICULT PART

Although none of the process was easy, the most difficult part of my weight loss journey was finding the motivation within myself not to give up. Now, I finally can say I did it!

HOW I FEEL ABOUT MYSELF TODAY

I feel confident and happier, and I am 48 pounds lighter. I now recognize the girl in the mirror.

MY ADVICE TO OTHERS

My advice to others is to never give up. Take it day by day, and remember that nothing happens overnight. Stay dedicated, focused, and work hard. All things are possible; you just have to keep moving forward. I send a big shoutout to the trainers at the fitness studio and my fit family, who kept me on track and motivated and encouraged and pushed me to be great. Stay committed, trust the process and you can do it too!
