Try to remain calm — HomeGoods is coming to Gulfport!
The popular retailer, beloved for its vast selection of discounted home décor and more, is set to open this fall, according to Arielle Abramek, marketing supervisor with the chain. The new HomeGoods will join several other recent and upcoming additions to the Crossroads shopping plaza — including P.S. Taco, Pedro’s and Nothing Bundt Cakes; a La-Z-Boy store also is planned, although no date has been released.
One local who’s “beyond excited” about HomeGoods is Jennifer Miller, owner of Jennuwine Design, who says, “The Gulf Coast just got a major design upgrade!”
“I’m always on the lookout for pieces that bring personality and luxury to a space without blowing the budget,” she adds. “HomeGoods is one of my favorite secret weapons for bold artwork, statement pillows and high-end-looking barware that doesn’t come with a designer price tag.”
So, what exactly makes HomeGoods such a huge draw? If you’ve never experienced the magic of this home décor wonderland, packed wall to wall with things you didn’t know you needed (but absolutely must have), it’s time to do a deep dive into its appeal:
• The thrill of the bargain hunt:
An ever-changing selection of home décor, furniture, kitchenware, gourmet treats and more means endless possibilities for shoppers — and the prices are so reasonable, you’ll feel like you’re pulling off a heist. You may enter the store with a single purchase in mind, but inevitably, you’ll leave with a cart full of superfluous items (we mean treasures).

• Fun seasonal novelties:
From towers of velvet pumpkins to Santa-themed … everything, HomeGoods is a headquarters for anyone who loves the holidays. You don’t just celebrate the seasons here; you get immersed in them like your favorite rom-com.
• One-stop home shop:
Want an instant living-room refresh? HomeGoods can make it happen with an endless array of throw pillows and faux-fur blankets. Time to replace your worn-out towels and bathmats? You’ve come to the right place. In one fell swoop, you can leave with the perfect accents for any room, unique pieces that look like they came straight from a design blog and even a trendy pet toy for your furry friend.
So welcome to the Coast, HomeGoods! Our hearts and homes are ready for you — even if our wallets are a little wary.
OTHER EXCITING ADDITIONS AT CROSSROADS:
- Pedro’s Tacos & Tequila Bar touts its authentic Mexican flavors, hand-crafted cocktails and high-energy atmosphere.
- P.S. Taco is known for its fast-casual concept that mixes street-style flavor tacos and more.
- Nothing Bundt Cakes (expected to open this month) offers different-sized and even tiered cakes frosted with a signature cream cheese.
