The May Day Project 2025

Let’s break the silence on mental health

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, so let’s resolve to break the silence and stigma. Let’s talk about our struggles without shame or fear. Let’s support and uplift those who are waging silent battles that leave them with invisible scars.

“Mayday” is an internationally recognized call that indicates distress and imminent danger. Women are more likely than men to experience a mental health issue, and often, they don’t feel comfortable asking for the assistance they need. This sixth-annual May Day section is meant to guide them toward healing and hope. It contains resources and expert insights to help them cope with anxiety, burnout, grief and more.

If you’re on a mental health journey, let us join you as you take the first steps toward a healthier, brighter and more peaceful future. Your mental health matters. Your happiness and wellbeing matter. YOU matter.
