Four high-end products I can’t live without

When I shop for makeup, whether for myself or for my clients, I gravitate toward a few products that will forever be my holy grails. I’m always trying new things, but I always return to my tried-and-true staples.

• My first favorite product is Urban Decay All-Nighter Long-Lasting Setting Spray (ulta.com, $33.00). I often have compared this setting spray to others like the Too Faced Hangover 3-in-1 Setting and Priming Spray, the NYX Matte Finish Setting Spray and the Morphe setting spray, but none of them has the staying power of Urban Decay. Another benefit of this setting spray is that it does not have a super strong smell like others do.

• Second, I have gone through contour palettes like no one’s business, but I always will return to the best. Kat Von D, now known as KVD Beauty, Shade + Light Refillable Face Contour Palette (ulta.com, $50) is the main palette I use at home and keep in my kit. It has the perfect three shades for contour and highlight. It also gives you the option to deepen your contour with the cooler shades and bronze it up with the warm shade.

• Next, Urban Decay Original Eyeshadow Primer Potion (ulta.com, $13) is a product I cannot live without. A little bit goes a very long way. After applying the primer, try setting it with your setting powder to ensure maximum color pigment and long-lasting eye makeup for whatever your day holds. This eye primer will not let you down, I promise!

• Finally, we have my all-time FAVORITE, Benefit BADgal BANG! Volumizing Mascara (ulta.com, $26). I’ve been using this mascara since it became available. When it says volumizing, it means nothing less. Benefit really outdid itself with this formula, and the wand is amazing! I rate this product 10/10 and would recommend to anyone and everyone.
