Fall is finally here, y’all — and that, of course, means a new season of fashion. I’m so excited for cooler temperatures, rich textures and warm tones!
Whether you’re revamping your wardrobe or adding a few key pieces, fall is all about expressing yourself while being fashionably chic. Here are some of my favorite fall trends and accessories:
CAPRI PANTS
Believe it or not, capri pants are back — but with a few tweaks. The “new” capris are very stylish and, most of all, comfortable. They enhance your curves while keeping you on trend. Some of them even have bows, and I just can’t with the cuteness!
Even celebrities like Solange Knowles and Sabrina Carpenter are rocking capris with super cute kitten heels! Want to try the trend? I recommend the cotton shapewear capris by Skims or Aritzia’s cheeky hi-rise capris. These are such an easy transitional piece to add to your fall wardrobe!
OVERSIZED BAGS
When it comes to this season’s bags, the more oversized, the better. Every girl needs a go-to bag that holds everything and anything she needs for the week. Carry-alls like the Coach Brooklyn shoulder bag, Zara’s elongated woven shopper or even the Kurt Geiger violet leather hobo bag are so in right now. I love the color palette as well, featuring rich shades of brown and deep plum. These are the perfect to match for any outfit in your fall wardrobe.
NECK SCARVES
Neck scarves were a hit throughout the summer, and they’re not going anywhere this fall. They are the perfect touch to any fabulous outfit this season. Whether you pair them with denim or even a long skirt, a neck scarf like the striped satin and abstract print pieces available from Mango will set you apart from the rest.
SNEAKERS
I live in sneakers, and if you do to, here’s some good news: They’re only going to get better. Plus, you can pair them with any and everything.
When shopping for sneakers, I’m always looking for an awesome colorway. For fall, suede and unique fabrics are in! Nike’s Cortez vintage suede trainers and Dolce Vita’s notice stitch sneakers are a couple of solid options.
Sneakers always will come through in a clutch when you want to make your outfit a little casual, but you still want to look fashionable. A pop of color on your feet to complete your perfect fall outfit is chef’s kiss — and it will make people stop and take notice.
